2023 New Member and Renewal Form

Some items that might be useful to you in getting to know how we run the Buenaventura Senior Men's Golf Club.

1.  Our tournaments are governed by the USGC Rules of Golf (current edition).   All members will abide by those rules and any violations will be presented not only to the person, but also to the rules or tournament committees. 

2.  The BSMGC plays every Tuesday morning, weather and course conditions permitting.  Our club currently plays at the River Ridge Golf Club alternating between the Lakes and Vineyard courses.

3.  The Membership Chairman will enter your name on the BSMGC roster with Southern California Golf Association (SCGA) through the USGA Golf Handicap and Information Network (GHIN).  You will be issued a membership number by GHIN.

4. After each regular Tuesday tournament, the club's handicap (or tournament) chair will enter your score to GHIN.  If you play other rounds at any USGA sanctioned course, you are required to enter your score to GHIN.  After you have played 3 rounds of 18 holes (or combinations of 9 and 18) the GHIN system will issue a preliminary index and you are eligible to enter the weekly tournament.

5.  Each Tuesday morning during the check-in for the day's tournament, there will be a sign-up sheet for the next week.  Sign-up is first come first served. On Friday, all members receive an email with next Tuesday's tee sheet.  If you are not signed up, or if you are and can't make it, you must email to Joe D with your intention.

6.  Additional tournaments include: Low Gross/Low Net, Nassau, 5-Club, Red/White/Blue, and four special tournaments: Ron Ulreich Memorial, Members Memorial, Club Championship, and President's Cup.
